You don't have to be tarpon fishing in Manzanillo to appreciate the women's Patagonia Solimar Shorts. Made of a tightly woven (30-UPF sun protection) lightweight stretch nylon with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish, the shorts are cut longer but can be rolled up and secured with button fasteners. In addition to front drop-in pockets, we've added rear drop-in pockets with flaps and two thigh cargo pockets. Backside seams and darts provide shaping and the legs are straight. Low rise; inseam is 13 1/2".

Great on a trip to Belize - fit true to size, comfortable and allowed me to move - almost as if they were not there. They dried quicker than most other I took, without an odor. Went easily from bush to the town looking good.

Got the Patagonia Solimar Shorts a few weeks ago and heavily used it so far. No matter of biking, climbing, hiking or stand up paddling – it's a very comfortable shorts.
I love the longer length and that those pockets are not bulky or dominating. Usually I don't like pockets on my pants, but I have to admit these are really practical and perfectly fit my phone.
These flattering shorts have some stretch but do not get loose and still look great after a day wearing them. Great Quality Patagonia!
