Comments about Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket (Women's) - 2008:
I got the jacket beacause I am the mom of a collegiate xc and spring track athlete. I attend many of the meets and needed something for chilly fall & always windy spring seasons. This jacket meets all expectations. it blocks the wind like nothing I've ever owned. I like it's tapered fit but can see how it might not work on all body types. I could not be happier with this purchase[...]

Comments about Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket (Women's) - 2008:
Not that we get alot of lot of cold weather down here in Houston, but I LOVE my new North Sea Patagonia jacket-- it's a flattering, sleek looking fleece, nice high collar that flatters the face/neck... great for casual or I even throw it on sometimes on the way out to dinner... it's slightly stiff at first but then loosens up once you've worn it a few times... it is on the snug side, so it might be a good idea to buy one size up... A definite must have!!!

Comments about Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket (Women's) - 2008:
I just popped this jacket in the mail to return and would not recommend it. I'm a bit surprised by the reviews I read, which implied that it was cozy and comfortable. I thought it was quite stiff and uncomfortable. Frankly, it also looks a bit too much like a cookie monster costume - rather corny looking.
