The Kid's Retro-X Jacket by Patagonia can be worn alone or layered and is made of durable and warm recycled (78%) polyester quarter-inch-pile fleece.
It's the first annual To-the-Barn-and-Back Race, and your kids' dogsled team is an ancient Lab, a nearsighted corgi and the neighbor's pug running lead. Keep your mushers warm in the durable Retro-X Jacket made of thick, soft polyester (78% recycled) fleece. The interior has a nylon windproof lining, and the zip front (with a reflective zipper pull) is backed by a wind flap for chill-stopping protection. Other details: a fleeced-lined stand-up collar provides warmth around the neck and helps prevent chafing, Y-Joint sleeves ensure mobility, zippered handwarmer pockets are lined with moisture-wicking polyester mesh, and durable Supplex nylon reinforces the collar and vertical chest pocket. With a hand-me-down ID label inside.

I bought this jacket for my almost 2 year old son. The XXS is big on him but still looks cute with plenty of room to grow into. I've washed it already about 6 times and it's holding up great. Patagonia jackets aren't cheap but they seem to last for years and I got a great price on Rock Creek.
