Rain Shadow Pants (Women's)
Product Number: 20719
The women's Rain Shadow Pants by Patagonia are full-coverage, lightweight rainwear with exceptional moisture management, and built with 2.5-layer nylon with an H2No barrier for high-output pursuits in wet conditions.
Light enough to be an afterthought until the downpour, Patagonia's Rain Shadow Pants provide fully seam-sealed waterproof/breathable protection. They're made from packable, lightweight and tear-resistant 2.5-layer 100% nylon with an H2No barrier and a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. On the inside, a raised pattern diffuses and channels moisture away from the skin, aids in hassle-free layering, and enhances long-term durability. Features include a buttoned, partially elasticized separating waistband with a zip-fly; articulated knees; and fully separating side zips with snap closures at the ankle and waist. Gripper elastic cuffs.

Comments about Patagonia Rain Shadow Pants (Women's) - 2008:
Super bummed that the fit is so strange because the design is rockin' - front zip fly for easier on/off, long ankle zips for getting on/off with shoes, elastic in back so the garment moves with you, AND super light fabric. BUT the waist is absolutely tiny! I generally wear mediums or size 8 in Patagonia, but this medium is very big in the hips and very tiny in waist; which is strange because I am curvier than most - 30 inch waist, 40 inch hips. Felt like I was squeezing Thanksgiving dinner into a 5-year-old's jeans. I would only recommend if your waist is verrrrry small.

Comments about Patagonia Rain Shadow Pants (Women's) - 2008:
Bought it for my trip to Iceland in June, was going to the North part, and you never know what the weather is going to do. It did not rain when I was there, but the pants were great against the wind and cold over a pair of warm layer.
They were a bit too long for me (I am 5.3), but since the material is thin, they just gathered up at the ankles, no problems.
