R1 Headband
Product Number: 22229
The R1 Headband by Patagonia is made of performance baselayer and alpine technical fabrics. This stretchy polyester headband protects ears, neck and forehead.
This soft fleece headband warms your ears and forehead during hard-charging descents, keeps sweat out of your eyes when you're climbing uphill, and tames even the most unruly bedhead. On the outside, it features stretchy R1 fabric, made from a combination of 93% polyester (41% recycled)/7% spandex that provides packable warmth, excellent moisture transfer and wind-resistance. Stretchy Capilene fabric on the inside feels smooth next to the skin, reduces bulk, and speeds evaporation.

What’s in MY pack? Backpacking gear lists from a Great Smoky Mountains overnighter
"Ever since we published a series of backpacking gear lists this spring (an ultralight backpacking gear list, a traditional backpacking gear list and a beginner’s backpacking gear list) several blog readers have contacted me to ask which of those items I personally carry. After all, it’s one thing to compile lists of suggested backpacking gear, and another thing entirely to disclose exactly what I take on the trail. Well, what better way to follow up those gear lists, and answer that question, than with another gear list?"

Comments about Patagonia R1 Headband:
Grat headband to wear in cold weather, such as running or cycling, but also commuting. I've run with it in the 20˚F, when it's not cold enough to wear a hat but too cold for your poor ears, and was feeling VERY warm.
