The Men's Primo Down Jacket is Patagonia's warmest, most protective freeriding jacket features 700-fill-power European goose down with a durable, waterproof/breathable 2-layer GORE-TEX Performance Shell - a combination that keeps you comfortable in the coldest, wettest conditions.

Riding Jackson Hole in cold, turbulent weather can be an opportunity to revel, or a one-way ticket to misery. The difference depends on if you're warm, dry and stoked. The Primo Down is Patagonia's warmest, most durable insulated hard-shell jacket for riding in the roughest, coldest conditions. It combines the most durable, waterproof/breathable face fabric available - 2-layer 100% recycled nylon GORE-TEX Performance Shell - with an insulating layer of warm, compressible 700-fill-power premium European goose down. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish repels saturated snow and a polyester lining manages moisture inside and improves comfort and durability. The Optimal Visibility Hood is helmet-compatible and 2-way adjustable with a laminated visor. Touch Point System embedded cord locks in the hood and hem offer easy adjustability. Other features include ventilating pit zips and a fully featured, removable powder skirt with webbing loops that attach to any Patagonia Ski/Snowboard pants. Pockets: two handwarmers, two chest, one bicep and one interior; Slim Zips throughout (pockets, pit zips and center-front) are watertight and laminated in place to reduce bulk.

Comments about Patagonia Primo Down Jacket (Men's):

Awesome jacket thus far. I wear it to work and when I'm out and about when it's in between the 20's and single digits. I'm 6'5, 220, and an XL fits great on me. I got it online for 40% off rock creak, awesome deal. [@] still has it for [$]. 5 stars.

Comments about Patagonia Primo Down Jacket (Men's):

Love the down lined hood, very warm and helmet compatible... in my case a hard hat, not a ski helmet but compatible nonetheless. The jacket is very lightweight and warm. It doesn't look like a bulky ski jacket, it has a very nice fit. It has plenty of pockets and the zippers are smooth and watertight. Enjoying this jacket every time I put it on.

Comments about Patagonia Primo Down Jacket (Men's):

Did not like how the under arm zippers felt. The zippers formed an arc of material that bunched up too close to my armpits. (I'm 5 11, 155lbs, purchased med., otherwise fit was good) I've had pit zips on other jackets but never had this issue before. Also, one of the waist grommets on my wife's jacket broke on first wearing...returned both. Have other 5 yo Patagonia jacket that I still love...hopefully an isolated incident.
