The Powder Bowl Pants - Regular by Patagonia These 2-layer pants are built with GORE-TEX Performance Shell and tough polyester fabric for the best in waterproof/breathable protection in all conditions.
Some runs are purely stellar, some purely survival. We make Powder Bowls for the full ride. They have a rugged 2-layer polyester shell that's bonded to a GORE-TEX membrane using GORE-TEX Performance Shell technology for the highest level of waterproof/breathable performance available. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish prevents saturation and increases abrasion-resistance. Inside, a brushed tricot lining manages moisture and glides smoothly over underlayers. External thigh vents let you regulate your climate on the uptracks and articulated knees and a gusseted crotch provide unlimited mobility for big air shows. Other features include coated, watertight Slim Zips for reduced bulk, gaiters with tenacious gripper elastic and burly scuff guards to protect the hem from ski edges and postholing abuse.

- Gaiters keep the snow out, while tough scuff guards protect inside of leg and bottom hem
- Pockets: Two handwarmers, one back hip, one right thigh - all with secure zip closures

Went though all kinds of insulation/shell combinations until I bought these. They fit perfectly over ski boots, are warm & tough without being restrictive, allow ventilation options, and look good too. Couldn't be happier with them, except they are a bit pricey as with most Patagonia stuff.

Pant sizes run bigger than sizing chart suggests. I am 5'11", 160 lbs, and wear a 34 waist in most pants. MEDIUM fits perfectly. Large was WAAYYYYY too big on me.
