The Men's Nomader Pants by Patagonia are lightweight technical climbing and trekking pants made of stretch nylon with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 40-UPF sun protection.
For slickrock canyons, high alpine country or vertical granite walls, these are our most versatile trekking, climbing and backpacking pants. They feature a resilient, stretchy blend of 95% nylon (60% recycled) and 5% spandex that feels lightweight against the skin, resists abrasion, and provides 40-UPF sun protection. A Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds water. The waist has a zip fly, a low-profile snap closure, offset belt loops and stretch-elastic side panels for a personalized fit. A gusseted crotch and articulated knees allow you to move freely. Mesh-lined front pockets increase airflow; zippered security pockets on each thigh keep your topos and energy bars within reach. Inseam (size 32) is 32" .

Comments about Patagonia Nomader Pants (Men's):
I wear these pants when biking to school. They're very comfortable, and I love the elasticity of the material; it gives the pants a very durable and flexible feel. They are not warm at all for cold weather riding, but that's nothing a pair of thermal underwear can't fix.
The pants are well designed, and I appreciate the zippered wallet pocket, for that added security. The zippered cargo pockets are excellent too, though perhaps a bit small. All of the zippers are working smoothly and don't get caught on the fabric, at least so far.
My only complaint is that they are a bit loose in the waist on me. I got the size 34 because I'm tall and need the long inseam, but in return I got a slightly wider waist than I might have preferred. It's only a slight problem, though, and I definitely recommend these pants. I love mine. :-)
