The Men's Nine Trails Jacket from Patagonia is their lightest shell which provides wind and weather protection for high-output pursuits. Somewhere between the Bridger Ridge Run (for normal trail runners) and The Barkley Marathons (for the insane), we all find Patagonia's stride. The Nine Trails' wind- and water-resistant 100% nylon is treated with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Its exceptionally breathable stretch-woven back and underarm panels (90% polyester/10% spandex) vent excess heat, so you stay dry. The high-rise tricot-lined neck and stretch binding at the wrists and drawcord hem provide a tight seal. The jacket stashes into its own internal chest pocket.
