Nano Puff Jacket (Men's) (no-sku-product)
Product Number: 22661
The Men's Nano Puff Jacket by Patagonia is warm, incredibly lightweight, highly compressible and can be worn as insulation or outerwear in cold climates.
Take Patagonia's classic original Nano Puff Pullover, add a full-length zipper for greater all-around ease and, presto, the versatile Nano Puff Jacket. It is windproof and weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated shell in a gusty snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell also glides effortlessly, whether worn as an outer or midlayer. Low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft One (60-g) insulation traps heat with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. It packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into an internal zippered chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
This is a great lightweight jacket that can be worn by itself or layered under a soft-shell jacket for extra warmth or protection from the elements. Packs down really small in it's own pocket so there's no fear that it will take up too much space in your pack or luggage.

I bought this for my husband after previously buying the women's version for myself. He loves that it is lightweight, looks great, and fits him well. You would never guess that a jacket this light could be so warm!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
The Nano Puff series rocks hard! It's like wearing a sleeping bag all day long when the weather drops. I've taken this jacket on many camping, bike packing, back packing, and fishing trips. It packs down so small that you can take it anytime or any where when space is limited. It's an essential piece for all my adventures. Get one! You won't be disappointed.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
First off, I love this jacket. I had my eye on it for a year and finally the hints gave way to a gift. This jacket is extremely comfortable and light. I have replaced my fleece with this jacket and love that it does not feel bulky in the slightest bit. I use it for day hiking/camping and general around town activities. The only drawback I have seen is it's durability. It is obvious it was designed for occasional use and not daily wear. The stitching is questionable and after only 2 months of wear the stitching is giving in some areas. I'll admit I have used it daily as my go to jacket but the stitching could be stronger. use with caution and enjoy. Again, I love the jacket and recommend it but use it carefully for it to last.

Nanopuff pullover is a backpacking favorite of mine. The jacket allows me to use same technology daily and at work. It amazes me how flexible it is in differnt weather conditions.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
Had to exchange LG for XL as fit everywhere except shoulders & underarms. Now seems to fit too loose for body taper & sleeve length but still is an amazing jacket. Have worn it under a cycling windbreaker & rode in +20F comfortably. I like that it zips for overheat/moisture control but now w/ extra length zipper bunches at end & takes two hands to operate without catching. But... have experienced down & would never use it again for moisture prone & quick drying needed activities! I would suggest all those w/ larger arms, necks & shoulders but still a more normal (shorter?) body build find a local place to try before ordering. Works incredibly well w/ a wool vest too!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
Bought this as an alternative to fleece. This provides a decent amount of warmth (tho not as good as down). very lightweight and blocks wind (most fleece, tho warm, won't do this).
fit: i'm 5'11" and @ 200 lbs. like other patagonia products, medium is too tight thru the shoulders and chest, but a large seems too long, so there is extra material in lower part when i tighten up the draw cord along the hem. not a deal breaker, and this is preferable to having something too tight thru the shoulders

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket (Men's):
I've been putting off getting the Nano Puff for years because I'm cheap and my other jackets were getting the job done with minor sacrifices.
I finally bought it this year and wish I had gotten it years ago.
My two biggest worries were that the material would be fragile and that I would burn up while wearing it as I am extremely warm natured. It turns out that both concerns were unfounded.
The jacket is a lot tougher than I gave it credit for and I can see that I won't need to baby it.
I'm also amazed at how well it handles different temps.I can wear it unzipped when stopped on the trail or running around town even when the temps get into the 50s!
I've also worn it with just a t-shirt for night hikes down to 25 degrees and stayed warm.
I believe my biggest surprise with the Nano Puff was how well it fits me. I'm not a small guy at 5'8" and 200+lbs and yet the jacket allows me enough room to wear a base layer and long sleeve t-shirt under it. It also fits under my rain shell much better than my old fleece jacket.
As a side note I carry a concealed firearm daily and many of the jackets I've tried in the past have fit too snug to do this securely. The Nano Puff is neither too tight nor at all baggy, allowing me to go about my business without having to change my normal habits.
All of this and it packs into a very small package considering the weight and versatility one gains.
I couldn't recommend the Nano Puff more.
