The Men's Micro D 1/4-Zip by Patagonia is a lightweight, warm and fast-drying 1/4-zip microfleece works as either insulation or outer layer.
It's hard to find time to throw your Micro D in the wash when it's in constant use. Uber soft and lightweight, this pullover has a fast-wicking, 4.7-oz polyester microdenier fabric that's comfortable, supple and exceptionally breathable. Made from 85% recycled fleece, it's the perfect weight to wear alone on a shady crag or layer under a shell when the storm clouds roll overhead. A deep quarter-front zip lets you vent extra heat.

I love this fleece! I wear it whenever it's cool enough here in Southern California to need long sleeves. It's super soft, perfect over just a T-shirt. I also like that the collar will lay reasonably flat if the zipper is part-way down--I don't like "stand-up" collars.
I'm 5'8" and a soft 210 lbs, and I'm just comfortable in the size L, though it'll be better when I drop another 10 lbs. I've been tempted to order another color.

I bought this thinking this would shrink when i washed and dried it. It never shrunk so I am stuck with a fleece that is a bit to big on me. Beware - Patagonia fleece runs true to size!
