Paddle the backside of Santa Cruz or troll for lingcod while wearing the water-loving, all-recycled women's Patagonia Meridian Board Shorts. The shorts are made from stretch-woven, all-recycled polyester/spandex fabric that won’t snag, chafe, or bunch up during long paddles beyond the kelp forest. Wide waistband has a self-fabric fly gusset and flat-tie closure. Zippered, welted pocket means keys and hunks of wax won't get lost in the spin cycle. Inseam is 6”.

The best part of these shorts is the material. Light, strectch but not like spandex, and quick drying. I would say they run large. Order one size down. Once you do, the fit is cute.

I practically live in these shorts in the summer. They fit well and stay on, so they're perfect for paddling, raft guiding, and swimming. The legs are a good length, not too long or too short, and they're tapered so they don't ride up. I also like the material. Its lightweight, stretchy, and dries quickly, but has held up to some abuse. They even have a zippered pocket for stashing cash or a key.

Finally something cute and beautifully designed that I wore all summer with a sunblock tee over my suit to beach, pool, sailing farmers market ect. Have the longer version as well for cooler days or just for a change. I only needed one pair but will get another pair in case these ever go out of production. ps. I am in my late fifties,and they are classic enough to be ageless.
