The Men's Long-Sleeved Island Hopper Shirt by Patagonia is a superlight, long-sleeved shirt in an easy care, all-recycled polyester/organic cotton blend, with 15-UPF sun protection.
Serene in the face of serious heat and always up for a cleansing dunk in the hotel sink, an Island Hopper is traveler's manna. Its ultralight blend of moisture-wicking 65% all-recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton ventilates well; the light colors reflect the sun; with 2-button adjustable cuff, a straight hem and side vents. The oversized drop-in chest pockets (sized for a fly box, passport or both) with mesh vents can be accessed through the vertical reach-through opening while keeping the top flap secured.

Last summer as I traveled through the Henry's Fork River in Idaho, I happened to see a guide in the fly shop wearing this shirt. He said he lives in the shirt fishing the Henry's River and couldn't recommend it more highly. I got home and checked the net to buy one. You guys had them on sale and I bit on 2 of them. I actually bought two of these shirts in different colors. This is the most comfortable high quality shirt I've ever had the pleasure to wear. Great for hot weather and breathes extremly well but still tough. Buy one.

Great for wearing in warm or hot climates, very nice fabric (as usual for the Patagonia brand), the construction is excellent and it looks like it will be very durable. It is designed to be cooling with air vents, and the long sleeves will keep the midday sun off your skin unless you feel like rolling them up.
