Comments about Patagonia Lightweight Travel Pack - 2008:
This product was exactly as advertised - a lightweight travel pack. I bought it primarily as a pack to use in addition to a suitcase for travel or as an additional pack for use when I run errands or go shopping on my bicycle (my main bicycle pack is a Mountainsmith Lumbar Pack). I also use it for day hikes. Apart from not having a chest strap (which I fixed by using a shoelace), the pack is great. Do buy the pack if you don't mind a little discomfort in return for light weight and minimalism. Don't buy the pack if you want all kinds of bells and whistles in addition to cushy comfort.

Comments about Patagonia Lightweight Travel Pack - 2008:
Used for my carry-on on a recent trip to Mexico. Held all my items I wanted to keep handy during the travel and worked as a great daypack going to the beach or to central for shopping. Swallowed every thing I wanted to put in and had no problems. Very sattisfied with the pack.
