Fiona Parka (Women's) Closeout
Product Number: 22220
The Women's Fiona Parka by Patagonia is an exceedingly feminine, urban and lightweight down coat inspired by one of Patagonia's most technical alpine garments; made of recycled polyester and insulated with 800-fill-power premium European goose down.
Wrap yourself in the Fiona Parka's attractive feminine silhouette for walk-to-work warmth. This very comfortable, cozy parka has princess seaming, narrow quilt lines and an overall thoughtful design. It is made of high-tear-strength all-recycled polyester micro ripstop with a moisture-shedding Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish; featherweight 800 fill-power goose down insulates. The just-above-the-knee length takes the chilly edge off wanderings on Museum Mile, and the full-length, 2-way zipper lets you ventilate above or below. On-seam handwarmer pockets and interior drop-in pockets secure valuables.

I love the way this coat fits. It is attractive and light weight.
I would suggest a sweater or light weight fleece for those very cold days/nights.

Comments about Patagonia Fiona Parka (Women's) - 2008:
The Fiona is my new favorite winter jacket. The materials make it very light and packable (PERFECT for traveling), but the 800 fill down is actually very warm. Just right for a snowy Utah winter. The fit is great: taylored and feminine, but roomy enough to accommodate a sweater underneath. And the style makes it very versatile. I wear mine out to nice dinners, to the grocery store, and on cold nighttime walks with my dog. I just wish I had this jacket when I went to Europe last winter!

Comments about Patagonia Fiona Parka (Women's) - 2008:
I was excited when I saw this product. The styling is great, especially the below-knee length. Unfortunately, the jacket is much lighter than I expected. Based on the fact that it's an 800-fill down coat, I was hoping for something to get me through the hardest winter months.
If you're looking for a spring/fall jacket, or if you live somewhere without harsh weather, this is a fantastic piece. It's soft, beautiful, and (as with all Patagonia products) extremely well-made.
It didn't work for me, though.
