The Women's Duway Skirt by Patagonia subtly feminized the styling of this lightweight, recycled and recyclable quick-drying skirt with built-in shorts. Everyone knows it's what's inside that counts. Beneath this silky, sanded 100% polyester skirt (40% recycled) is a built-in pair of shorts.
The travel-friendly fabric is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that drapes gracefully, dries quickly, and resists wrinkles. Updated fit this season, with a center-back shaping dart and flattering hip seams, the skirt has a more classic, feminine fit. Zippered side vents allow mobility.
With a discreet front zip pocket and a waist-to-hem length of 17" (size 8).
Built-in shorts inseam is 3"".
Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

I agree, the older style was better. The newer model has a slanted zipper pocket which creates a slight bulge on the right hip where all the seams meet along with the side slit zipper. The waist is slightly tighter and the hips are a little wider. The older model had a horizontal pocket zipper on the front right waist. Material is awesome and the colors are great. Bring back the older model plz..... :)

Why did Patagonia ruin a great product??!!! The Duway skort was a perfect classic. Someone lost perspective and "restyled" this classic, giving it a shape to accommodate women with no waists. I have 2 of these skorts in the "old style" and they are fantastic. Wear it casually or dress it up. I just tried the 2010 restyled version and it now fits like a potato sack! Patagonia, please bring back the original, classic version of the Duway!!

I bought this skirt to travel to Italy. It fits like a glove and feels like air. I love that the material is thin and flattering. It is a little long so I did have it altered but that's just my style...I wear it instead of shorts...not to work.

Very easy to clean and dries fast if you have to mop off a spot. I have two kids and this is great for taking them anywhere and being able to bend down and take care of whatever they need. I would wear this every day if I did not need to wash it at least every once in a while. One of the few items I trust for photos to be flattering even when it's a candid shot.
