The Better Sweater Full-Zip Hoody by Patagonia is a hooded, full-zip polyester fleece cardigan that combines the aesthetic of wool with the easy care of fleece.
On hikes to find fall color, the Better Sweater Hoody warms you from head to hand. It has a sweater-knit face but delivers all the moisture-wicking, quick-drying qualities of a technical fleece. The full-front zipper has a zipper garage at the collar to minimize chafe. Smooth micropolyester jersey trims the hood, wind flap, pocket openings, cuffs and hem. Zippered handwarmers and a zippered pocket on the left sleeve keep your necessities secure.

I have both the regular better sweater and the hooded one. I wear them all the time. To the gym, for walks outside, as a second layer for cold and snowy days. It is not wind resistant but very soft and comfortable and looks great. And being a very active 60 yr old it looks great at any age.

I have the hoody and the half-zip. I wear one or the other practically every day. Best article of clothing I own. In cooler temps, I wear it under a down sweater vest or over a long-sleeve tech shirt. Warmer temps I can layer over a tank and be perfectly comfortable.

I love this sweater and wear it almost every day over a tshirt. I wear a vest on top of it and I am good to go. It looks great and it is very warm. I think warmer than fleece. I wish it came in more colors.
