The Men's Better Sweater 1/4-Zip by Patagonia is a rugged yet soft 1/4-zip fleece pullover that combines the aesthetic of wool with the easy care of polyester fleece.
Patagonia's plush Better Sweater styles adapt to their surroundings, effortlessly making the transition from the metal shop to karaoke night. Pleasingly styled and technically adept, they have the timeless look of wool and the durability of polyester. Heathered 9.5-oz yarns create an easy-wearing, moisture-wicking, bulk-free piece with a handsome face and a soft fleeced interior. The stand-up collar has a zipper garage; raglan side and back seams make for a classic shape. Micro-polyester trim at the collar, cuffs and hem wicks sweat, and a vertical zippered chest pocket secures keys and cash.

This is truly a great sweater! It looks great with jeans, khakis, and just about anyting else you match it with. It is very very comfortable and stylish. The fit is great, even after washing it a few times. I wear it out on cold days, without any kind of shell, and it keeps me plenty warm. My sweater got hung on a nail but after washing it I really think it went away! The snag is not visable! Defiantly worth purchasing if you ask me.

The Better Sweater is an attractive, casual garmet that looks great over a button down shirt. It's a stylish fall/winter piece; perfect for a ballgame or casual party. However, the Better Sweater is not as warm as I had hoped it would be. Patagonia's Snap-T pullover is much warmer and almost as stylish (in a throwback sort of way). Date the Better Sweater, but marry the classic Snap-T.

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He wears it all the time. It's nice and warm and comfy. He's 6'1" and around 175 and I got him the M. It fits pretty well although it seems a bit short in the torso and in the arms but he says it's fine. He usually wears it with a t-shirt underneath. He's not a big fan of the chest pocket. I got the red which is a nice change from the usual blues, greens and grays he normally wears.

I initially loved this product based on the reviews it received, the pale khaki color, and the seemingly casual yet classy look, but I returned the product as it has a very weird fit. Though the site says it is a regular fit, the bottom of this fleece widens up, which was not at all what I wanted. If you want a more fitting look, this is probably not the best choice for you.

This is a sweet fleece, more like a sweater, but more useful with a zipper pocket. Outside looks like a raglan wool sweater, but the inside is butter soft fleece. I have worn this item so much since I purchased it.
