If it has been done, its been done in the Men's Baggies™ Shorts by Patagonia. They are made from a quick-drying, water-repellent nylon, and have a casual fit and an elasticized waistband with internal drawstring. Other features include a polyester mesh lining, a rear snap pocket and front pockets (with self-draining mesh corners) that are positioned to reduce drag in the water. Inseam (size M) is 5". Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

I have bought these shorts for years,but the sizing had changed to that the shorts were huge on me.I decided to drop down from a large to a medium and was very satisfied with the decision.I use these for working around the yard and house,plus kayaking,walking ,ect.I not only got a pair of shorts that fit,but at a savings.I bought three this time,will order additional colors next.Thanks.
