Baby Reversible Puff-Ball Bunting
Product Number: 22555
The Baby Reversible Puff-Ball Bunting by Patagonia is made of a wind- and water-resistant 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell fabric that's insulated with warm and compressible 100-g Thermogreen polyester (90% recycled); with a long diagonal zipper for easy on/off.
This one is for the cold stuff. The 2.3-oz ripstop shell fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester, is wind-resistant, and has a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish to stop wet weather. An internal layer of 100-g Thermogreen insulation (90% recycled) holds heat even when damp, reduces bulk, and compresses with ease. As needed, the reversible fabric switches out to a contrasting quilted side for a whole new look. The spandex-secured hood and convertible mitts protect the head, ears and hands, and the long diagonal-zip closure with full wind flap ensures easy transport and diaper changes.

Comments about Patagonia Baby Reversible Puff-Ball Bunting (Youth):
This suit is cozy, comfy and adorable. My almost 2 year old would not keep any form of mitten on his hands, leading to miserable walks and sledding trips. The fold over hand flaps on this snowsuit solved that problem. Its waaay easier to get on than the bib and jacket combo he used to have and he seems really comfortable in it. I got a 3T (he is in 24mo/2T now) with the hopes he will be able to wear it next year too, and even though its big, the elastic around the ankle is snug enough that we don't have to roll the legs up or anything. We love it!

Comments about Patagonia Baby Reversible Puff-Ball Bunting (Youth):
I just bought two of these for my twins, and used them for the first time on a cold hike this weekend. They were awesome! I started to buy fleece buntings, but I'm glad I went with Puff-Ball buntings instead because they cut the wind and slide on more easily over clothing. I also like the fact that they are reversible so you can mix it up and/or hide stains if need be (although the fabric wipes clean easily). The sleeves fold over themselves at the ends to keep cold air out, wich is good because it's tricky to keep mittens on my little ones. I wish the feet did the same, but I just put some warm booties on them, and their feet stayed plenty warm. I've noticed that Patagonia baby stuff seems to run large - "6 month" should really be called "6-12 month." I bought the 6 month size for my 7 month olds, and the buntings are too big, but still usable. They will definitely last my two through the end of winter, when they will be a year old.
