Comments about Outdoor Research Virtuoso Jacket (Men's):
I used this jacket during my New Years hike in the George Washington National Forest (VA) and it worked out perfectly! We camped at the top of a Knob and the temp. dropped to around 25 degrees, the winds gusted up to about 40 mph. I wanted to test out how cold I would get if I just wore my base layer underneath...I literally didnt get cold AT ALL! I also had on a cotton balaclava. When I put on the hood my head was getting HOT! The draw strings around the waist helped keep the heat in and the hand warmers in the pockets were great! I used a 5L stuff sack and it fit inside with no prob. Highly recommend this jacket!
