The Revel Jacket by Outdoor Research is a waterproof jacket designed to get you through the worst summer squalls or that nice light misting rain. Whatever water you encounter the Pertex Shield fabric will keep you safe and dry, while also giving you stretch you need to hike, scramble and climb your way to the summit.
The Revel also has a fold away hood and TorsoFlo side zippers that give you options for ventilation and more protection from the elements.

Compresses down into left pocket so this guy goes with me everywhere. Hood has tons of adjustment so it's never falling down in to my eyes! The strecthy arms are great when hiking with a pack on, and it's sized just right to fit a lightweight fleece underneath. Haven't found a need for the poncho zips except for using for normal pit zips but it is nice to have the option if you want to put it over a small pack. Great lightweight rain jacket!

this jacket is a wonderful piece to have in the car, backpack, hatch of a kayak, or your suitcase. lightweight breathable stretchable waterproof protection. i was even able to throw it over my PFD on one trip!

Really a nice jacket. The hood fits nicely into the collar when not in use and the collar has nice soft padding. Very light weight and compresses down to a small package. Adjustable wrists with just enough elastic to not have to undo strap. Very happy with my purchase.
