Since my wife has received this jacket, it seems to have rained most days and has gotten plenty of wear. Wife loves this jacket and says it keeps her dry and warm (with proper layering). She really likes the pockets and the ability to open up the sides and allow it to breathe. Probably one of the best gifts I have gotten her recently.
