The DryComp Summit Sack by Outdoor Research is a highly versatile pack that performs like a dry sack and stores your sleeping bag etc for backcountry trips.  When leaving basecamp for day hikes, the DryComp can be easily turned into a daypack.  No more fanny packs or top of backpacks to use when going on a long hike, with the DryComp's compression straps that turn quickly into shoulder straps, as well as a waist belt you can turn your sleeping bag sack into a daypack!  Daisy chains and an ice axe loop take care of the equipment you need for a light day out on the ice. 

The DryComp is a dry sack so it is 100% waterproof with taped seams and a roll down top that secures with a buckle in order to keep your sleeping bag, electronic equipment, or whatever you need to stay dry when out in the backcountry.
