Comments about Osprey Stratos 24 Backpack:
I needed a daypack-size bag to carry a large jacket and some photography gear, and a few odds & ends. This bag holds it all. The hip belt is a comfortable, supportive belt, not a strap. The zip pockets in the pack supplement the storage in the main part of the bag; pockets in the belt and shoulder strap are perfect for keys & phone. The zipper pulls are nice big loops, easy to get hold of. There's a lot of airspace between the mesh and the main part of the bag, keeping the bag itself off of what would otherwise be my sweaty back. It also means that oddly-shaped objects in the pack are kept away from my back, so they don't dig in. I recommend the Cactus color, a "refreshing" change from drab colors like blue and red. Finally: I've even had to use the rain cover, and it works. I love using this bag.

Comments about Osprey Stratos 24 Backpack:
I bike to work and I was looking for a backpack that would be light-weight and durable. Someone told me about Osprey products and I looked them up. I chose the Stratos 24 because of the size; not too big, not to small. I found I could easily fit a change of pants, shirt, shoes and jacket, with plenty of room to spare. The top loading makes it extremly simple and there are plenty of other storage pockets, albeit some are a little small maybe just big enough for keys, cell phone, etc. I also love the ventilated backing, Osprey calls this AirSpeed, a 3D mesh backpanel and LightWire frame that keeps the pack away from your back and thus keeps you nice and dry when working up a sweat. I choose the unique Catus color that is offered and it looks great! [...]
