Comments about Osprey Radial 34 Pack:

This is a great backpack. I got the small/medium pack which is only 32L. While slightly smaller, it has lots of room for all my daily carried items including textbooks, netbook, notebooks, and binders for school. In the winter it's still large enough to hold my mitts and toque as well as the items listed above. It's also great for short trips and field camps/schools.

The backpack is quite tall and not very deep, allowing it to have a lot of space inside while still fitting close to your back without sticking out behind much.

At first the straps were a bit stiff and were uncomfortable on my neck/shoulder area but they did loosen and soften up after a few days of breaking them in. Overall this is a very comfortable backpack which I've worn all day without it becoming uncomfortable. The AirSpeed system works very well at allowing air to pass between the pack and your back, reducing sweat. The shoulder strap pulls are tucked away in little loops so that they don't hang down. This is a great little feature that I love, however it does make them more difficult to adjust.

The back is well designed and well put together. Osprey hit it out of the park with this one and I'm never going back to cheaper backpacks. Not that I need to with it's build quality and Osprey's Almighty Guarantee.
