Manta 25 Backpack Closeout
Product Number: 33604
Winner of the coveted Gold Award from the Outdoor European trade fair, the Osprey Manta 25 is part of the new Osprey Hydraulics collection. A premiere hydration pack for light outdoor pursuits, the Manta has a lightweight design and unique drinking system that allows you to stay focused on your activity without worrying about what you’re carrying.
The anatomically formed, antimicrobial and BPA-free Nalgene reservoir is easy to insert into its own dedicated compartment even when both the pack and reservoir are full.
The Manta also features the HydraLock System, Osprey’s newly launched technology that compresses the reservoir as it empties minimizing water slosh and bounce of a standard hydration system. The result is a highly dynamic, functional hydration pack that allows you to move and jump as you please without standing in your way. In terms of design and function, the Osprey Manta’s superb fit, ventilation, and water delivery is next to none in the race to the top of the hydration pack race.

Comments about Osprey Manta 20 Backpack:
I had a similar pack, but smaller pack for hike's to Half Dome. I discovered I needed room for food, rain gear, water filter and ample water capacity. This size works great. I almost bought a smaller Osprey 25, but now I'm glad I went bigger. The straps compact my load securely, even if I don't need the extra space. It's good to know it's there if I need it.

Comments about Osprey Manta 20 Backpack:
I bought this pack before a trip to do a few Colorado 14er's. All I can say, is that it is phenomenal. Osprey thought of everything for the bag. The hydration system is ergonomic, the "Stow and Go" trekking pole storage is genius and seems almost magical in the how little it encumbers you. I recommend no other day-pack in the store this highly.

Comments about Osprey Manta 20 Backpack:
I think that Osprey hydration units are sooo much better than Camelbak brand. The hydration unit itself has a flat back to it, makes it much easier to load into the pack when the pack is full of gear. Its easy to put water in the unit too, spin the closure and it will actually close and stay sealed.
The backpack is well ventilated and comfortible. The coolest feature is how the hose has a magnetic feature that connects to the front strap.

Comments about Manta 20 Backpack:
I am currently training for my first 100 mile race that will be taking place in mid-October. I have owned the Manta 25 for just a few days now. but have taken it on a 10 mile run with the bladder full of water, and a useful load in the hip pockets.
I have noticed right away that this bag has benefits over my CamelBak Octane 24, namely that it holds its strength and the side winching straps keep the load higher up on my back. The result is that the harnesses don't slip down my back, and the load is held properly.
The bladder is SUPER EASY to fill and replace into the bad. Finally the mesh back is really good and provides true air-flow, which is comfort for my back!
