The Stretch Diad Jacket by The North Face is a jacket that makes up their Summit Series jackets and is designed to get you up and to the summit with total protection and safety.  The Stretch Diad is a fully waterproof, seam sealed outer jacket  that offers stretch and easy movement while you hike and scramble to the top.  The HyVent DT is an applied polyurethane coating combined with a DT print matrix which acts as a dry touch, half layer coating.  The HyVent eliminates the need for a liner which in turn keeps you from getting clammy and wet. 

The Stretch Diad is a basic waterproof shell that has a fully adjustable hood with a laminated brim and mini core vents so you can breathe without letting water in.
