The Women's Snowshoe 0° Sleeping Bag by The North Face is a synthetic material bag that can go down to the colder nights of spring and fall. The bag is insulated with Climashield™ Prism, which has ultra-high performance qualities that make it the new top choice of synthetic fill in NF's bags. Climashield Prism requires less wattage (i.e. energy) than any other fill, meaning that bags with Prism will maintain their temperature more easily when wet. Overall, Prism loses 15 percent less heat when wet. Further, deflection tests proved Prism to be softer to the touch, and pack-and-unpack tests showed it to be significantly more resilient.
The Snowshoe bag also has a soft and breathable silken lining and an adjustable synthetic filled draft collar with a comfy micro fleece cord tunnel. Great for all season mountaineering.

Comments about North Face Snowshoe 0degF Sleeping Bag (Women's):
I chose 'comfort driven' as my gear style to be different...This bag [...]comes with both a storage bag and a good compression sack so you can pack it small. It's pretty light and packs smaller than many others in the under $200 range.A helpful 'gear expert' at Rock/Creek advised not to store it in its compression sack but instead to keep it in all of its 16x22 (inches, I'm American) glory in the storage sack. Otherwise, you risk losing up to 5% of the insulating value per year (yikes!). Good news: when compressed down nicely, it rivals my down bag at only 10x12. It has a pocket on the outside for an alarm and an interesting 'hand warmer' inside.Other things: I'm a male and planning to use it myself some of the time. I'm 5'8 and wouldn't want to be much taller in this LONG bag. If you are 5'6, I would go with the bigger bag, if you are 6' I would try it for size before buying. I don't feel much wasted space that my body would be forced to heat. It feels like a good fit. The male version that fits me (REG) is about 3 ounces lighter but was unavailable, so I got this for either of my wife or me and am very pleased. Zippers work well enough, the head and neck tighteners are good enough too. In sum, a good bag for a man or woman. Under 4 lbs and not too big in your pack.

Comments about North Face Snowshoe 0degF Sleeping Bag (Women's):
Beautiful! Incredibly light, yet incredibly warm! I brought an insulated bivy shelter on my camping trip to the Ocala National Forest in February, and I only used it a day or two, when it rained! Otherwise, I'd just lay out my Snowshoe anywhere, even on the coldest of nights, without a sleeping pad, and sleep! Sometimes I'd wake up sweating, and open the footbox more! On any given night that I was out there (I really don't know the temps, maybe it got as low as 25 or so), I could make myself sweat by closing everything and tightening the baffles, but for the most part everything was lose, slightly open, and it was luxurious! I looooove you snoowwwwwshoe! Highly recommended. :) <3

Comments about North Face Snowshoe 0degF Sleeping Bag (Women's):
I am not the owner of this sleeping bag. I've purchased it for my girlfriend. She was always complaining, that she is cold when we were on the trip. Now she sleeps as a little kid having no problem with cold toes.
What makes this sleeping bag even better than the other ones are little details. E.g. the zippers glove in the dark. There is both hand pocket inside of the sleeping bag that is different texture, made out of warm cloth.
This piece of equipment is as good as even I was thinking of purchasing one for me.
