Not a fan of footprints as a rule. Just make the tent bottom tougher...kind of a thing. But, when it's all on you back, uphill, both ways... some of those opinions change pretty quick.
Rock32 tent is one of the lightest 3man tents going. The foot print is also very lightwieght, packs small and quick, opens fairly quiet and user friendly even in the dark. For the return on investment a very good add to my kit.
