This jacket is a great complement to other North Face gear - it's perfect for layering and is just perfect with regard to not being too thick or too thin. The fabric actually appears thinner since it's the cozy thermal fleece, but don't let this fool you - the soft, cozy thermal fleece is higher quality than say the regular Denali fleece, and thus can afford to be thinner without giving up any heat. It is a little short on me, but I'm well-endowed so this may not be a problem for most people. I just got this in brownie. It is a nice soft texture. I got a small, it fits perfict with a little room to spare. I was expecting it to be a little heavier although. But a good layering piece! I cant wait to wear it out!
