Formulated without wax in order to preserve the look (color & texture) of nubuck, suede contains added conditioners (tanning agents for maintaining leather). It provides maximum waterproofing with minimum change to the appearance and texture of nubuck, suede and split leathers. The application is preferentially drawn to areas that need it most since those are the areas that soak up the most water. May slightly darken light colored leathers, test on hidden are first.

  • Adds water repellency
  • Prolongs life and performance of all nubuck or suede footwear
  • Maintains breathability
  • Ideal for footwear with breathable linings e.g. Gore-Tex
  • Can be used on wet footwear
  • Easy to apply
  • Can be used indoors unlike solvent based sprays
  • WaterBased - environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non flammable, non hazardous

Comments about Nikwax Nubuck & Suede Waterproofing:

I use this on my boots to condition the leather so they don't dry up and crack. A must have if you want your boots to stay waterproof and extend their life.

Neither, it's actually a sponge-tip applicator, just like shoe polish.
