Dromedary Bags
Product Number: 1713
MSR's Dromedary Bags are made of durable, abrasion resistant Cordura nylon. Laminated with food-grade polyurethane these water carriers are tougher than typical vinyl products and flexible even in freezing conditions. We dare you to try and rupture or destroy this bag in the backcountry – many have tried – but the Dromedary wins time and time again.

Comments about Msr Dromedary Bags:
This bladder is the most durable I have ever used. Sure it's heavy compared to Platypus or Camelbak bladders, but for basecamps or other times when weight isn't an issue this bladder is the best. The easy to use cap lets you attach most filters to it just like a Nalgene bottle. The black color is great if you want to use this as a sun shower. This also works great with the optional hydration kit. P.S.- for durability and light weight check out the MSR Dromlite.

Comments about Msr Dromedary Bags:
I used to carry the Platypus water bladders, which come with a very good warranty. But I'm rough on gear, and after my third replacement, I gave up. These certainly aren't the most lightweight option available, but if you've ever had a leaky water pouch soak everything in your pack -- and leave you without water for the rest of your adventure -- you'll understand why I've never gone back.
The three-way cap is versatile, mating directly with my MSR Sweetwater pump filter but also allowing me to pour water into my cookpot without spilling it everywhere. The attachment cord is a nice touch. Doesn't seem to mind when you accidentally leave it half full of water to freeze in the back of your truck. MSR has a winner with this one.

Comments about Msr Dromedary Bags:
The Dromedary bags are a great option for your hydration needs. They have plenty of accessories, one of which is a hydration hose for drinking. It slowly allows more room in the pack as you drink, thus making it easy to put away when not in use, unlike a bottle which obviously does not change shape. One cool tip, use the dromedary as a pillow. Blow some air into the bag, and as you rest your head, slowly let out air until your comfortable. Its awesome!
