Comments about Mountainsmith Odyssey Camera Pack:
This bag is just not well-laid out. Things like the zippers for the main compartent being blocked by straps prevent it from being a good product. It's not comfortable when loaded, and it's heavy empty. The straps are inadequate for the load it's designed for. Make sure you use the weathershield in even light rain, as it has no water resistance whatsoever without it. The internal divider system is below standard as well.
Pros include a really nice tripod sling system, convenient exteral drink carriers, tonnes of storage for other bits and pieces, and nice filter-sized storage packs on the waistline.
On the whole, I wish I'd gone Lowepro or Tamrac.
