I'm 5.8'. There are so many shorts these days that have 10+ inseam lengths. With my height, 10+ inseams always go past my knees. And that makes it pretty [*] uncomfortable when treking up or down steep trails. The Mountain Hardware Canyon shorts are a perfect fit. Especially the inseam. They are the most comfortable, quick drying shorts that I've ever owned. I hope the designers don't change a thing about this short.

This is the best performing hiking short I have found in the past 15 years of backpacking. I have used the same pair of canyon shorts for many years with no real signs of breakdown in the performance or construction.
