The Ascent MCZ Jacket by Mountain Hardwear is designed to keep warmth in and the snow out, while skiing or boarding in the backcountry and on-piste.  The Ascent MCZ has Micro Climate Zoning, which is a lining and backer materials that are strategically placed to increase warmth, reduce the need for bulky midlayers and breathes during high exertion activities. 

Lined with MHW's proprietary Monkey Phurr you get the ultimate in comfy, warm fleece.

Not a waterproof jacket, but does repel snow and light mist with absolute determination.
