Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
This is not my first MH item. I am an avid outdoorsman and really like the functionality and durability of MH's gear. That said, I was looking for a good solid web belt to replace my Army Rigger's belt (not very trendy). When I saw the design of the buckle I was sold. I do like the ability to unbuckle quickly. The two complaints I have is that it doesn't stay tight very well under load and it is a bit too narrow. If you have more than a small cell phone hanging from the belt it seems to loosen then twist. I think this coule be solved by putting a second retension loop that could slide up against the buckle (I use a rubber band (not very stylish)) and add 50% to the width.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
Belt is made from quality materials, and has a unique buckle, but it is only 1 inch tall which can be uncomfortable around waist, also if you are a 30-32 waist the excess belt material will wrap almost half way around your waist,it also wont stay adjusted no matter what i tried, it always loosened up quite quickly after adjustment.i normally love MH cloting and gear but have too throw this one under the bus.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
I like the way this belt looks; I really like the buckle.
But it could be a bit stiffer - it tends to fold in half (although this might have a little to do with my stomach) and it could be a little wider. It also doesn't hold a length very well - it tends to slip - which is the primary reason I gave it only three stars.
