Comments about Moon Climbing Moon Fingerboard:

The good: small edge! My climbing partner has an OLD gen1 Metolius board that has edges this small, but my 5 yr old Simulator does not. This Moon board is sweet!!

The bad: the construction is not solid, like my other board. This is hollowed out in the back. We'll see how this will effect board longevity.

The ugly: made in England - somewhat difficult to acquire. Happily, Rock/Creek had one on hand!! Thanks R/C!!

Comments about Moon Climbing Moon Fingerboard:

The first board I've found that has small enough crimps to truly train your crimp strength. Awesome training information available on their website, backed up by years of successful climbers/trainers.

Comments about Moon Climbing Moon Fingerboard:

I've been stuck at a plateau the last year or so, and got a Moon fingerboard to try to break through it. So far I think this was a good decision. There are definitely holds on this thing to make you stronger(without having to add weight, which I love), but nothing to hold on to if you don't already have a good strength foundation.

I would say this is best used with dead hangs for pure finger strength. It also looks better in your house than most other hangboards. Some people complain about the lack of pockets, but it's easy to just put two fingers on one of the edges.

Pretty Awesome and very challenging. It made me see I have no finger strength, so I am training with it a lot now. Not many holds but all the ones you need.

Comments about Moon Climbing Moon Fingerboard:

Pretty easy to put up, I put a piece of composite board up first to hit the studs then mouted the moon to that. There is nothing else easy about this board, the closest thing to jugs are on the top and are a good starting point for intermediate climbers that want to gain finger strength and work up to the smaller 'pockets' and crimps. The smallest crimps are ridiculously small. There are also two sets of good slopers on top. Bottom line, if you're an intermediate climber who wants to step up your game, this is the board you want.

Comments about Moon Climbing Moon Fingerboard:

[...]it also doesnt weigh much, and is easy to put up above your door (just screw it in above the header), and has really small holds, so its really good for training and actually getting stronger. I got this since it basically doesnt have any jugs that are unnecessary. The smallest crimps are absolutely ridiculous, i can barely do a single pullup (i boulder v9) and there are small slopers right above it that also suck. It has a few "good" pockets, but nothing is a jug (i cant hang anything one-handed). It has "smooth" holds, so that they dont hurt THAT much if you slip, but they still are grippy enough to use the texture. definitely a good buy, especially if youre looking to get a lot stronger and youre already relatively strong. definitely not for beginners, but hangboards generally arent anyways.
