Comments about Montrail Hardrock Running Shoe (Women's):

I have used these on the pavement, concrete and on the trail and can't say enough good things about them. They are very comfortable and lightweight. They provide great traction both on and off road even in rainy conditions. I was having problems with my left foot getting sore after runs and had gone to using an insert for my heel, but since I got these shoes, the foot pain is gone and so are the inserts. Love the grey color-don't show dirt at all. The only thing I can not comment on is durability-but if they hold up well, I will be a return customer.

Comments about Montrail Hardrock Running Shoe (Women's):

I walk four miles each day, rain or shine, on a dirt road in the mountains of Vermont in my Montrail Hardrocks. My first pair held up so well that I ordered a new pair this spring to insure a summer and fall of comfort and support as I complete my daily walk.

Comments about Montrail Hardrock Running Shoe (Women's):

It is difficult to find shoes that fit me. These have wide toebox and narrow heal. I have had to buy shoes to big in the past just to get a wider toe box..and then the heal is always too wide. I am not alone in these needs and wish more companies would make this combination.

Comments about Montrail Hardrock Running Shoe (Women's):

The Hardrock is my favorite all around trail shoe. It's very supportive and absorbs impact well on rocky trails. Feels great on fast smooth trails as well. I usually run road-to-trail from my house, and they do just fine for me on short road stretches. I overpronate a little, and used to run with an orthotic, but no need to with these. I got a lot of life out of my first pair of Hardrocks, and now that I have a new pair, I'm using the original ones for long day hikes. I'll stick with this shoe as long as Montrail keeps making it.
