METOLIUS COLOSSUS BOULDERING PAD

The Colossus Crash Pad by Metolius is a large 4' x 6' folding pad that offers awesome protection when bouldering at your favorite field.  Although the pad is true to its name and is large, it has three panels with angled hinges so it keeps volume down and is easier to carry and store. The most important part of any bouldering pad is its foam.  The Colossus has the highest quality dual density foam available with 2.3" of open cell to absorb energy of impact and is layered under 1.2" of closed cell to disperse the force. 

Cool features include: large inner pocker for shoes, chalk etc, and a closure flap that can be used to protect the shoulder straps from mud and debris.  Sleeping outside? It also makes a great bed.
