The Trestles Sleeping Bag features Marmot's famous quality and rich experience in sleeping bag design in a bag built for backpacking and river trips undertaken in cooler climates. Wave Construction, used to build this bag, is the warmest shingle construction available, fitting extra insulation into these bags by creating an overlapping wave of shingles throughout the bag. The Trestles bags will keep you warm and dry in the wettest of environments. Micro muff cushions the drawcord around your face.

Comments about Marmot Trestles 15deg F Sleeping Bag (Long X-Wide):
The buckle on one side of the compression strap broke, but I was pulling pretty hard. So I just tied it off and used the buckle on the other end of the strap to compress my bag (the sleeping bag arrived Thursday for a Friday campout, or I might have tried to return it). I'm 6', 250#. the bag is really comfortable with room to wiggle. It's equipped with a short zipper at the head, opposite the main zipper. This feature makes the bag more flexible for all weather use than draw strings alone. I used it on 3 outings. The first time I used it in a heated tent, the other camping trips were 18F and 30F. It was great on all 3 trips, and warm even when it was damp (alone in a 2-person tent) on a rainy 30F trip. I bought left zip and right zip models (2) in case I want to double them up. Glad I did. My 12-yr-old son prefers it to his down bag for comfort (he probably swims in it). I think he'll change his mind when he tries backpacking with it. I used it backpacking; it's bulky. I compared temperature ratings, size, weight, price, etc. between this website and others before I purchased. This is a bagain sleeping bag with good features. Room to spare inside to keep clothes warm, or dry them out a little when the weather doesn't cooperate. I rated it as a 3-season bag, but it makes my 4-season kit together with a very compact down bag I have. The 15F rating seems accurate.

Comments about Marmot Trestles 15deg F Sleeping Bag (Long X-Wide):
The bag is a little big compared to ones I have used in the past, but man is it worth it. as a taller, a little wider guy, i find other bags to be too constricting when i sleep but with this bag my shoulders fit with a little room and i sleep comfortably at night.
