Comments about Marmot Midweight Crew (Youth):

I bought this for my ten year old son for our trip in a tall ship (the Lady Washington) over the Columbia Bar and the Pacific. So I was looking for a base layer that would keep him warm, and not stink since he would be wearing it for an entire day, a night, and the whole next day. When we left port in Astoria it was very cold with sleet and the seas were high. Water crashed up on deck and the wind was blowing. Having the right outer gear helped, but this base layer shirt wicked moisture while he exercised (he helped the crew with ship inspections and was climbing and venturing into the nether regions of the ship) and he never once complained of a chill. Overall, it was a nice top.
