Comments about Marmot Kompressor Backpack:
The Kompressor pack is billed as a pack to use on day trips from base camp, and in that respect it performs perfectly. It's lightweight, comfortable, is hydration compatible, and holds a lot of gear for day trips. On top of that you can use it as a compression sack for soft items (i.e. your sleeping bag) in your main pack on the way to base camp. Pretty slick idea for not much money.
