I love this jacket! Great for many different activities. This style is wind and water resistant and very breathable. It is warm to an extent. It doesn't have a ton of insulation in it, which able me to use it longer for the season. Great for snow sports and everyday wear! Great for anyone living in the city with lots of wind.

Lovely jacket. I bought the dove colour, which looks great, but I'm not sure how long for with a dog and a horse around!
I would say to try it on before buying, I am always a small in Marmot but really needed an xs in this jacket, maybe it's supposed to be a bit loose but I would have preferred a neater fit.

[...]Now for the jacket. ... I bought this for a trip to Alaska this July. I wanted something fairly substantial that was wind-resistant, breathable and had stretch. And I also wanted it to look cool. When I got the Gravity jacket, I was THRILLED. It's everything I was looking for! Now, for the test. I wore it to Sequoia this weekend, and it was cold (by Los Angeles standards) -- in the 50s. I wore the Gravity jacket with a cotton tee underneath while hiking and just walking around, and it kept me warm and blocked the wind.One word of caution: I'm pretty petite (5'2, 115 lbs.) and the Small fits great. However, anyone with a bust larger than a 34B may want to consider sizing up.

I needed a middle layer for a trip to Alaska this summer and wanted something stretchy, breathable, windproof, water resistant and WARM. The Marmot Gravity Jacket seems to be all those things, plus it looks FANTASTIC (I bought the blue). I'm 5'2 and about 115 pounds; the small is fitted but not tight. However, I do have a small bust -- 34B. Anyone with a bigger bust should probably size up if you plan to layer underneath.
