I searched for a long time for the perfect jacket as this was to be my first winter in the Northeast US after moving here from Africa! This jacket is perfect. The inner fleece is very warm, the color is lovely and the ability to remove the shell and the hood is a huge plus. Also that the top shell covers my butt ;-) It has been keeping me warm all winter so far. Just wish that there was a button behind neck to hold 2 shells together, and that the arms of the fleece didn,t come out at the cuffs so much - the only real complaint. I wear S/M depending on design. S fit me fine but would have been difficult to wear anything under so i sent it back and Rock Creek were great in getting me the M right back.
