The Aegis Jacket by Marmot is a waterproof, breathable jacket that protects you from summer downpours while offering you a lightweight rain coat.  With the MemBrain Strata laminate, the jacket does not have to have a lining nor 3-layer construction like other laminates, eliminating that clammy feel you get from other inner layers.  DriClime lined collar and chin guard wicks moisture from your face while getting to the summit, while the attached adjustable hood gives you an option to use a hood or put it away when its not necessary.
