The Archipelago Blade set by Lendal is highly versatile, with a mid-size asymmetric shape that fits a range of activities, a softer catch for novice paddlers or heavy loads, and a small, efficient power face.

Made with premium Nylon12 resin with carbon-fiber reinforcement. The expedition paddler's dream: all-conditions reliability in a moderate to light weight. Comparable to or slightly heavier than fiberglass composite, but slightly less expensive and more durable by about a factor of 3 for cracking, splitting, and abrasion. Outstanding as hard-use sea paddle, also ideal as modern whitewater paddle. Perfect when strength-to-weight ratio is critical, but budget is not unlimited.
