The Wildcat Trail Running Shoe by La Sportiva is a neutral shoe designed for runners who want great stability and extra cushioning in every stride. Trail running is all about avoiding the obstacles, while moving forward and a good trail shoe helps you do that without getting hurt. With the FriXion X-Axis rubber outsole, you can dig into the deepest mud and still get excellent traction throughout the push-off.

The midsole has a single density cushioning and with the added plush factor of the LaSpEVA 2.4mm lasting board you get a shoe that takes on the impact instead of your knees. Supportive, solid and cushioned.

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

Very comfortable show. I drifted away from my barefoot new balances and switched to these shoes and I couldn't be more happy! Great support, more narrow shoe and the box isn't too big. I would definitely buy another pair of these!

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

These are the only trail shoes I've used so can't compare but I've been very happy with them. I've done two 100 mile ultra's using them and no blisters. They offer good traction on rocky terrain and can also be used on pavement if need be. They are not waterproof at all and the mesh allows for water to get in but they also dry out quickly.

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

Shoe is very durible and has great traction on the trail! I walk my dog 3-5 miles a day and these have been my go-to shoe.
The shoe has a nice generous toe box and hugs the heel really well. The shoes seem to fit a little small, so I would suggest to size up a 1/2 a size from your regular shoe size.
I would also use this as a ultra-light backpacking shoe on the AT, bag a 14er in Colorado, or just hiking around with my friends after work.
These shoes have lasted me over a year! My boyfriend also owns the same shoe and LOVES them. Impressed!

          Light upper with sticky sole

Comments about Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

This is an ideal shoe for Chattanooga trail running, and any warmer weather environment. The upper is more breathable than heavier trail shoes, but doesn't sacrifice traction due to LaSportiva's braking system built into the sole. For aggressive downhills, particularly for the SE rocky trails, the anti-braking system and sticky sole gives confidence as you navigate treacherous downs. Its a cushioned shoe, perfect for multiple trail scenarios.

Comments about Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

Out of the box, these Wildcats are amazing on trails. My arch and tendons were not fatigued from rocks. Call it a confidence boost if you will, but I have been holding out for these shoes for a while and my first day running in them was amazing. I experienced the difference from lower end trail runners to these quality shoes. Don't let the price scare you, it is well worth this sort of quality investment... these are your feet we're talking about! Very Important!
