The Wildcat Trail Running Shoe by La Sportiva is a neutral shoe designed for runners who want great stability and extra cushioning in every stride. Trail running is all about avoiding the obstacles, while moving forward and a good trail shoe helps you do that without getting hurt. With the FriXion X-Axis rubber outsole, you can dig into the deepest mud and still get excellent traction throughout the push-off.
The midsole has a single density cushioning and with the added plush factor of the LaSpEVA 2.4mm lasting board you get a shoe that takes on the impact instead of your knees.
Supportive, solid and cushioned.

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Men's):
I have run in the Wildcat on trails for 4 months, and recently discovered I can also use them on the road. I'm 6', 190lbs, and overpronate, but the Wildcat has enough stability and cushioning for me on both the trail and road. I originally replaced the factory inserts with "greenies", but now I'm back to the factory inserts and everything is great!

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Men's):
I wore these shoes on an 8+ mile run straight out of the box and could not have been more pleased. Heel cup was stiff for the first mile but shoe quickly conformed to my foot by mile three. I love a neutral shoe with good stability and this one is an excellent example of both. Integrated tongue helps keep trail fodder from getting into shoe as well. An all around great shoe/buy.

Comments about La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe (Men's):
First of all, this shoe just looks great. The look is aggressive without being over-the-top. The tread explains why they call this shoe the wildcat--great for running, can be a bit tricky when walking around town. My first experiences with the shoe were upsetting as the insert was bent on the right shoe; I could feel the line every time I took a step. Then on the left shoe, the insert slipped back just enough that my toes were hanging over the edge. Once I traded out the inserts, the shoes worked perfectly. Thanks to the tread, running the trail in a downpour was much more exciting (unless you like falling on your face into the mud) once I didn't have to worry about slipping.
