Comments about La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

I have a narrow foot and these fit great. I used to run in the Cascadias, which are a very comfortable shoe, but i felt as if they had a "high-heel" kind of. The la sportivas feel closer to the ground, which i love, and still manage to be comfortable. They are durable, great trail running shoes.

I love the stability of these shoes. They really hug my foot and give me confidence whether I run on the trail or on the road. I actually wear them on the road a lot and they do great!

Comments about La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

This is a quintessential trail shoe for any situation. Of all the trail shoes I have owned, I always go back to the Fireblade when I want a basic, comfortable, functional shoe. They are durable, with sturdy and sticky sole, but not too heavy to use in any situation. The Fireblade navigates flats, rocks, creeks, and any trail scenario with ease. The shoe has a uniquely snug fit in the heel and length of the foot, but a very roomy toe-box which guarantees plenty of protection.

The Fireblade is perfect for the trail runner looking for an all-around ideal shoe no matter where they might be running.

Comments about La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

This is my second pair of Fireblades and I do enjoy them quite a bit. I am an overpronator and usually wear orthotics but do not with these shoes. They have limited support but because of the nature of trail running, the quick and light movement somewhat negates the need for tons of support. Cushion is minimal but just enough for the trails. Although they are still good for rocky trails they tend to be best for mixed trails and what I would call southern trails (sand, gravel, pine straw and some minor rock face). They are great through water and seem to dry out quickly or at least drain so you are not running in squishy shoes.
I would not advise these for running on paved road for extended periods. They are designed mainly for racing on trails and because of their low support in the arch and lower cushion than regular shoes you may find you get sore shins, and feet. At the same time they can handle portions of road no problem.
Overall a great shoe for most soft and mixed trail that works with you not against you all the way to the finish line.

Comments about La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe (Women's):

I've had my La Sportiva's for a couple months now, and am highly satisfied. I run unstable/rocky trails and gravel roads almost daily; these have been a blessing on my feet for cushioning and great arch support (I have med/hi arches). I am a little concerned that La Sportiva has sacrificed durability for flexibility, but they have held up well so far. For a lightweight all-terrain trial shoe, they're ideal.
